Since 2016, Local Archive has collected thousands of rural newspapers and newsprint photographs alongside urban representations of these same regions. This longterm process tells an open, divergent, and urgent story about the swift, often invisible, forms of change in rural communities -- and how these local, cultural dynamics are often invisible, and misunderstood, by national media.
